  1.                   Installation notes for UNzippers
  2.  
  3. (Mainly for demo users, but if you have the release disk, and have used the 
  4. backup .ZIP file - this may also help you)
  5.  
  6. To keep the size of the demo to a minimum, the Windows setup program is
  7. not included - so you'll have to install yourself - sorry about that -
  8. thought you'd rather do that than watch your phone bill tick up as you
  9. downloaded the demo!
  10.  
  11. Quick install:
  12. Run install.bat with 2 parameters
  13.     1) The directory you want to install to
  14.     2) Your windows directory
  15.         e.g. install c:\clubmate c:\windows
  16. Don't include a final '\'.
  17. The first directory will be made if it doesn't exist.
  18. Windows DLLs will NOT be overwritten if they already exist.

  20. Manual install:
  21. Put the DLL's (COMMDLG.DLL and CTL3dV2.DLL) into your
  22. Windows SYSTEM directory, AND DELETE THEM FROM THE CLUBMATE DIRECTORY.
  23. (3d effects will not work if Windows finds DLL in the ClubMate directory).
  24. Shove everything else into its own (ClubMate) directory, (if not already 
  25. there) and use Windows - File - New to add the program icon to a suitable 
  26. place.

  28. The Demo Version has a usage count. DO NOT be tempted to interfere with
  29. the UsageCount or UFlags variables in CLUBMATE.INI - you may make the 
  30. program unusable.
